It depends how you define better. There is an inherent value for Tiffany brand that should be appreciative and accounted for. Tiffany diamonds are fantastic and their is both an intrinsic and extrinsic value to owning a Tiffany branded diamond. The Tiffany branded diamond may provide the owner of a peace of mind or happiness that can not be offered from any other item.
However, with research and expertise, you can definitely find a reputably certified, rare diamond that is exceptionally cut that is not only higher quality than a Tiffany diamond but better and for much less money.
