Bhagavad Gita

The goal in life is self-illumination and supreme bliss without material wealth. This is hidden in the body like butter in milk. It is found through renouncing possessions, action, thought, desires, without hope, coveting, and incurs no sin. Content with what comes to him without effort. He is swimming in an ocean of bliss. He does not hate or desire.

Attachment brings death. Attachment is born out of ignorance. Non-attachment is a divine attribute. Non-attachment brings freedom and wisdom. Practice of detachment is an important discipline.

Failures are not stumbling blocks, but stepping stones to success. Attachment to God is a potent antidote to annihilate all worldly attachments. He does not desire pleasure.

Self doubt is mental torment.

Renouncement of thought.

Desire, Anger, Fear and Attachment are powerful enemies of peace.
