Start with facts, quotes, and questions.  

Credibility - It is important to establish credibility
Read the Room - It’s important to get the tone of the crowd and environment. You need to find the right tone, key words, and phrasing appropriate for the occasion.
Use humor to demonstrate you are human.
Treat your audience as a partner - Respect them by confirming you are in charge of the situation.
Don't act out of character in your presentation - Dazzle them with genuiness.
Avoid being fake - You can not make an audience like you.
Be watchful of your mood or attitude especially if something goes wrong. Do not show feeling for frustrations or anger.
Connect - You need to connect with everyone

Take Charge - As the speaker, you must take charge of all aspect of the presentation including mishaps. Welcome the role and don't shy away from it.
Make sure you become an expert in the subject matter. Research and write about the subject and rehearse!
Conclusion -Thank the audience and conclude with a strong point and call to action
